SF Cow Hollow

The project involved a partial remodel of an existing Craftsman style home to transform it into a Japanese inspired design aesthetic. The spaces included a “Ryokan” style Guest space with adjacent Dojo gyms along with new windows and doors and handmade copper roof tiles. No details were spared from authentic imported hand-hewn cedar posts, Japanese hand pressed clay plaster., rice paper door and window screen panels and handmade copper roof tiles. A majority of the joinery millwork was fabricated using Traditional Japanese techniques and hand tools. A transformation and some!
